My brother has asked if our club wants to meet up with his club at DubFreeze in February. They are organising an inter club get together and are all travelling there together. The clubs he has got so far are: Chequers VW Club (Oxfordshire) My brothers club Shoe County Dubbers Rugby Dubbers Milton Keynes Roundabout VW Club and maybe our club? ?? There is a bar on site at DubFreeze so we could all meet up at lunchtime for a pie and a pint and check out what we've all been buying! Anyone interested in this? I'll post more info when I get it.

ooooo eeeeerrrrr................ Just looking on the Dubfreeze website at the competition for Sunday.....I am in stock air cooled class so Beetles and Vans are in the same class.... Look at my competition!!!! and me.... It doesn't tell me what others are stock but there aren't many! I think the green and white van will win with the grey 62 Beetle runner-up Oh well, it's the taking part I suppose

C'mon John........Glass half full mate not half empty......yours stands as much chance as either of them, in fact I think that westy is just to "Overdone", lovely van and a great model but not for me and many others will think the same way............the beetle, hard one that as it looks to me like original paint but again yours is as nice and asoriginal.....you will do okay

Cheers for the support guys Just get a little nervous before a show. I'm getting all the rust spots and bubbling sorted at DubTricks in March so it will be all ready for Stanford again this year - looking to break 100 points! Next will be the interior (seats inparticularly) TMI from heritage i think - hopefully that will be done for Newby / Big Summer Bender

You've got a great Beetle Jon with just as good a chance as the others. The bus looks good but a bit over the top with accesories for me. You'd get my vote Jon, we wont be there this time we'll be packing for a trip to the sun but we'll be back for the March meeting. Good luck Jon hope it goes well for you. Cheers Mick
