Hi all, I’m new and this is my first post here. I hope someone can help/advise me on something a little sensitive: my mother who is now 87 has to stop driving and hence sell her car about which she is heartbroken, She has always been a bit of a closet petrol head. Her car is fantastic and far too good for the usual sales channels. I also think it’s value will be higher than the typical Glass’ Guide or similar valuations.
Can anyone suggest a value for this (from a position of knowledge) and where to sell it for a good price to someone who will actually appreciate it?
It is: VW Polo GTi. 2000/X reg. Silver. BBS Alloys recently refurbished. Black cloth sports interior. Air Con. All completely original. She is the first and only owner, so it has one retired lady owner! Garaged it’s entire life and done about 65k miles. The condition is as you would imagine it.
I so do not want to offload this to a dealer who couldn’t care less for £800. Help please?

tariffresearch: It doesn't matter how experienced you are, novices are welcome - as long as you have looked into importing a car / or considered applying for a BTI (Binding Tariff Information application) - I am interested in speaking with you. Many thanks Cindy
