So anybody else make it to Dubfreeze? I went down with my 5 year old who was hyper at all the VW bags, T shirts etc and came away with a new rear bumper and a red9 wishbone kit and brakes , looking forward to a comfy ride soon

Yup - we made it. It was very busy (nearly got stuck in the muddy field they called 'car park'). There were some very good stalls with hard parts on but the price seemed generally quite high. Used stuff was OK though. Too many trinkets for my liking! Attachments:

No power assisted steering but apparently it's alot lighter and more accurate then the good old worm drive steering. The main reason for getting it is the comfort factor...my back seems to get worse every year and travelling on B roads just isn't fun in the van anymore. I will also be adding a servo as well to help make things a little safer when towing the trailer....my engine is also being rebuilt by Daz at aircooled performance as the piston rings were going...so having a tourquey 1776 built to make it a lazier cruiser (I don't want to go any faster than 70)
