Dates - 24th-26th September 2010 www.vikingvolks.co.ukViking Volks Fest in North Yorkshire has been running for 4 years now, it is a friendly family orientated event run by VW enthusiasts from the North East. But even if you don’t have a VW you can still come along, camp and enjoy the ending of the festival season in style. With a real ale bar, live bands, tasty food stalls, quality trade stands, workshops, a KIDZONE, extremely impressive views of the Yorkshire Dales, a Sentry circle then the show 'n' shine on the Sunday to finish it all off, there will be plenty to do! Viking Volks is organized and run by the same people as the successful Willowman Festival (www.willowmanfestival.co.uk) so promises to be good. Attachments:

last years music was a bit crap but plenty of folk got up and joined in the fun. I hope they cut the grass earlier this year. Sadly its left till last, leaving huge piles of the stuff everywhere. Its a wonder last years chinese lanterns didn't turn the place into an inferno. Could do with Titan up north. Anyway great back end show to get some late t shirts shawls and hopefully collect those end of season bargains. Hope this show stays on, a Northern rarety Looking foreward to it

LOL chinese lanterns might not have but Geoff set fire to his feet !! I turned round from talking to Derek and he was dancing around with grass on fire - very dodgy but very funny ! :-)
It is a good weekend and people should make the effort but the band was better the year before.

We've been going since the start and it really is a good show. Music is usually first class with the Bob Marley tribute act being the best so far. Hope the weather is kind again

Glad you are all looking forward to it, the grass is a big improvement from last year. We had Willowman on the same field this year and it was fab (www.willowmanfestival.co.uk)
