www.campinginllanberis.com/Great view when you get up of Snowdon and Llanberis valley. Nice people very reasonable pricing. Not far from the village of Llanberis although it's up quite a steep hill which is a bit of a challenge after a few pints. The campsite appears to have no flat bits whatsoever. We camped on a hill and one of my lads woke up with his sleeping bag hanging out of the pop top canvas, probably more to do with the state of my canvas and my pitching skills or lack of. The view here is awesome and I like Llanberis it caters well for walkers and climbers. It's got the best cafe in the known world, I challenge anyone to find better value than Petes Eats, great salads with enourmous portions. www.petes-eats.co.uk/The camp site was infested with midges put me off the place a bit. In the washing up bit there were literlalty thousands of them all over the window sill. bit grim. Plus points - great view, they let you have camp fires, nice village negs - no kids play ground, on a hill, goddam bloody midges.... limited elec hook up.
