Hi everyone
We had our 1971 beetle restored last year. The car looked pretty good before we took it apart ... always the story ... but many panels were replaced with NOS ones as this was cheaper than having the restorer repair the existing ones. However, they seem too good to scrap and might be useful to someone who doesn't mind fettling them a bit to put on a daily driver. They generally need a bit of repair eg wings along the mounting flanges, a couple of dings here and there etc. The most useful bits are probably the 3 wings (no OSF) although both doors are also available (stripped out and need attention to bottoms). The bonnet (rusted out around front lip) and OSF wing (poor condition) are still here too should they be of use to anyone. We're in Huddersfield. Free tea and biscuits to collector. Feel free to make donation to the club.
