Hello all.
Back to a problem caused by little nutss in the newcastle area, the dints caused by the rocks in the roof - My fear is now a reality. Where the dints hit the roof, there is rust appearing where there is no paint left. Can anyone recommend a temporary deterrant for this? Any sort of protection to put on it so it doesnt spread, just until I can afford the re-spray??
Any help on this would be greatfully recieved.
Cheers
Boka

If you go to a decent paint shop... there's one in Bradford called Autopaint, and if you give them the colour code of your car (no matter what year) they can make a small tin of paint that has built in rust remedy and prevents further corrosion. If like me your paint has faded from original you give them a mirror or petrol flap and they'll match it no problem!! Just apply, sit back and save for the respray!! It's amazing stuff... I bought 3856 tins for my crewie! LOL..... Hope this helps.
