bank holliday May, Its Ripley Castle then, and I always think Run to the Sun is a bit far for a trip out in the van! But if you go, put some pictures on the forum for us.

We went last year it was great seeing so many VWs, didnt stop on the official site but just outside of Newquay, looked too chaotic to me. You should go, we did it in 6 hours

We went last year it was great seeing so many VWs, didnt stop on the official site but just outside of Newquay, looked too chaotic to me. You should go, we did it in 6 hours I only do 50/60 m/hr and last time we went to Cornwall it took us 2 days driving, on a Sunday speed if you know what I meen.

i will certainly be taking plenty of pics so i will put them on the forum when i get back .we are not staying on the official site either , as yes,it is chaotic getting in and out of the site and all of the approach roads etc.the cruise round newquay is the bizzzzz, wall to wall vws ;D

Well it certain was not run to the sun this year ! Sunday it rained most of the day and the night time it was gale force winds, I spent most of the night checking to see if the awning was still there, most people's tents that were camping got blown away, only vans were left by the morning no tents !!!! Mare. We should have been in France but it poured down there so we did the VW thing and got the seacat from St Malo to Poole and travelled to Newquay arriving at 4.00am, parked up and had a kip till everywhere woke up. It was busy, shame about the weather though.
