err......well I suggested getting there for 9.00am when the gates open (8.30am leave Conyingham Hall) because there are around 1500 exhibitors and the road leading up to the entrance gets REALLY busy.......oh and we don't want to miss out on the free wine do we?

Had word back from the organisers. Unfortunately we are not allowed to BBQ on site as Newby Hall feel that it interferes with their catering arrangements. Not sure about the line up Derek - I don't suppose it would matter if we are out of sequence. I thought they may do it in age of vehicle order but they don't. As we can't have a barbie, whos up for a club picnic? ;D We can all bring something different along - sarnies, sausage rolls, salad stuff, jelly & ice cream ( ) etc. Oh, and one of Hermann's display tickets is still up for grabs for whoever wants it!

So will see you all anyways. Just it would be great to park with the rest of the gang. Er ... re mass E Mail, thanks Herman.

Re Newby Hall, sister Gail has already mentioned our interest. Just thought probably worth mentioning to prevent confusion. Our Bay has snuck in the year thing since she's a 71 with the small rear lights. For those of you who may recall the dormobiles shabby state. I am pleased to say shes still a bit shabby but the panels will look just under 2 grand better ' ouch!'.

Final entry goes to Stooge and their '71 Bay Window! ;D
See you there guys - are you going to meet at Conyingham Hall first (8.15am)?
Cheers, Jon

It's getting closer folks! Just read through the info pack again and saw there are a few more veedubs showing on other stands scattered around! Also, just a reminder - it's REALLY important to remember to stick your green form in your windsreen BEFORE we get to the entrance gate otherwise they won't let you in!! See you all at 8.15 - 8.30 at Conyingham Hall for the cruise!

Got some new Bunting retaining Posts for the Banner to-day so we can erect it properly, will also bring the infamous "Raffle Table" to show off our "Club Trophy" and will also bring the Flagpole and do we want :-
A) A VW Flag
OR
B) A Yorkshire Flag
OR
C) Both
If its both then someone else needs to bring another flagpole (Steve n Gail have one Maybe?)

Sounds great ;D. Both flags would be nice - one at each end of our display and the club banner in the middle maybe What about a picnic? Does everyone want to do their own thing for lunch - there is catering on site.

Hemann
I will be at the unit on saturday complete with my "Special" polish, an armful of elbow grease and a bunch of rags from Matalan.....so as long as you don't interrupt what I have to polish. (only kidding)....then no problem
