Anyone fancy an alternative to the normal meet ON TOUR...
Trippin' the Light Fantastic!
How do you fancy a visit to Britain's most popular holiday resort... yes, Blackpool!
Sunday the 6th of November sees the end of the Illuminations, which is usually marked with a huge firework display. So, the Volksmaniacs decided it would a good idea to head over to see the £2.4million light display!
If you fancy joining the Volksmaniacs, we'll be meeting in The Corn Mill car park in Huddersfield, just off junction 25 of the M62, at 12:15, ready for heading off to Blackpool at 12:30.
Once in Blackpool, we'll have a couple of hours to wonder round, visit the Pleasure Beach, spend all your 2p's on the slots etc, then we'll meet up later on in the day to cruise through the lights in time for the fireworks!

The rain just pishes and pishes in, this summer NAS got torrential rain for weeks and the water has got under the seals in the Bus frame (Not the safari frame).
Saw a spot of rust and thought...ugh o...thats not good...removed the seal and HORROR, chuffing bad..bad rust beneath the seal..SO
Ripped off the seals yesterday, wipped out one safari, removed all the crud in the window aperture, rubbed it down, blathered it with Hammerite sealant, ready to rub down and primer, then re-fit new seals and original safaris.....its a pig of a job cos of the fixing plate in the aperture near the vents, you have to secure the strip with a 3mm long countersunk ss screw....its difficult, very.
Especially on yer own....so I am sure one of you guys will find some time to help me out here, Alex has allready offered, more the merrier...at least we can have some crack in my lovely dry/warm unit
