Hi-Listing this on behalf of a friend; Had the car since 2005. It was an import from Japan,(but the seller said it was originally from Germany). We were the first UK owners, and when we got it it was completely rust-free - and has never been welded or generally messed with, over the past 7 years some rust has started to appear. It's had a bit of touch-up done, (but just light and have all receipts) and general maintenance, replacement of worn out parts etc. I've got all the history. It is tax free & only 45k miles from new
It's completely untouched inside (upholstery, carpet linings, etc.) and apart from the addition of two rear seatbelts and the stereo (which was in it when we got it), it's just as it would have been in 1972 & had no welding. The vinyl's in good condition apart from a small patch on the driver's seat where it's worn away. When we got it, it had an original 1970's air-conditioning unit in it - but we had to have that removed so my husband could fit his legs in the passenger seat! No price as of yet, I think its prob worth a bit less than they paid, but interested in what poeple think it may be worth ??
Please post your thoughts and i'll go back and agree a price to list it at. Sticking with local forums, then vzi, then prob fleebay thanks
