www.proctorsstead.co.uk/Stayed at Proctors Stead last week, Dunstan, lovely campsight, was £17:50 per night for our Westfalia, awning, 2 adults and Wren the dog and hook up. 10 min' walk to Craster. Fab' dog friendly pub in the village a couple of minutes walk, lovely food and great service, The Cottage Inn. The campsite owner is really nice and everything is spick and span, showers 10p a go, free hot water in the washroom and for pots and clothes washing. Freezer blocks frozen 10p, donations to a good cause. We left ours there on the top shelf :-( , probably still be there next time we go, honesty box to buy milk eggs and bread. On the morning we left two other VW Campers had arrived. Barbara x

Hi we stayed there a few years ago it is a really nice and level site, definitely worth staying.
Has the famous Craster smokehouse down in the local harbour, within easy walking distance.
