Hello, we have a recently aquired a 1975 Westfalia Campervan, with LHD and a continental hook up. We bought a caravan UK hook up to exchange the input, but that is too large for the present hole to exchange inputs. Are there any input converters on the market or other ways of getting around this problem that anyone knows of please ? Thanks, Barbara.
Did you ever get this sorted? I also have the original hook up socket. It needs a female Schuko plug on the end of your cable. I went all over trying to find one and eventually got one in a shop in Germany. You can see a picture of what you need here: www.reimo.com/en/M82034-shockproof_coupling/ I suspect you can get these in Maplins or Go Outdoors these days though.

tariffresearch: It doesn't matter how experienced you are, novices are welcome - as long as you have looked into importing a car / or considered applying for a BTI (Binding Tariff Information application) - I am interested in speaking with you. Many thanks Cindy
