Hey! I've been a huge VW fan for years now, As my first car I got a VW caddy (when I was 16..) as a project really, it was pretty rotten, after a year it had changed dramatically, I also loved working on it and improving my technical skills, never worked on a car before, but everything on the caddy has been changed, wven put in a 1.9TD from a mk3 golf I passed my test, and it changed even more! I've just turned 18, and now have a full time job, and i've decided to take the leap and buy a beetle So, as of tomorrow I will be the proud owner of a 71' 1302s super beetle! Looks quite mint, but has no MOT or tax.. Can't wait to get to work on it and make it my own ;D (Here's a pic or two of my caddy, will get some of the beetle up soon too!) and now.. Thanks for looking!

Hi,
Nice beetle.......did you buy it from a village called Snainton, I'm sure I've seen this beetle parked opposite my parents house?

Thanks! Umm, i'm not sure what the village was called! It was very close to Malton though.. It's my first time working on a petrol, but today I managed to replace the sparkplugs and HT leads as it had a slight misfire, It's still running a bit lean though, so will need some adjustments to the carb

Nice beetle looks in good condition.
Loved the caddy though. Very nice wheels. Did you sell it or is it a beetle back up?

Cheers! The caddy will still by my daily, I'm not sure I can run the beetle as a daily with the caddy being so good on fuel and much faster too! But we will see after I get it MOT'd and insured..
