Hi just wondered if any body has gone down this route and has any advice. Any pro's and con's. Anything really I've looked on other forums but not really any use. Thanks

Had a pertronix ignition kit fitted to my 009 for about 10 years and never had an issue with it

Fitted electronic ignition 5 years ago. Fantastic never had any problems with starting.
Money well spent.
Do it.

pertronix ignition kit fitted to my 009 too, and the best and easy to fit and never have to set points again.
