Well it's time for the winter van projects so it's about time I cleared out all the cr*p out of the garage and this time I'm going to get rid of new stuff I have in boxes and never used (don't tell the other half though So here goes...I can post stuff but bear in mind that alot of it is heavy and will cost a bit to post..I am willing to bring it to the christmas do (and can even wrap it in xmas paper if you want ) 1. 350w amp, and 10 inch sub plus instructions and all wiring...brand new never used ...bought it to fit behing my drivers seat but my wife said no...cost me £125 so looking for £75 2. Beetle rear oil shocks....were on the van for a week or so before I changed to adjustable shocks £10 3. Twin port manifolds..original vw..sprayed grey...I will give them a degrease before selling them as the paint is in very good condition £20 4. Towball and L bracket...brand new £10 5. Brand new removable towbar....Would be an easy fabrication to adapt a standard vw towbar (bluebird etc) to accept this. These cost £125 new ,so I am looking for £75 6. Electric camper tap..brand new £5 7. 12v vdo gauge....I assume this is a beetle gauge. says 1966 on the back £25 8. 12v smiths fuel gauge £10 9. Martin Walter (dormobile) elevating roof plaque £15 10. Thule roof bars to fit any standard roof rails on most estate cars...£25 11. I also have various bits of split door window frames...just drop me a pm for what I've got Any questions just PM me Cheers Yakboy

Hi Simon, might be interested in the amp, the prob I have is finding a suitable place to put the woofa!!!! Could you tell me the depth so I can try and measure a suitable fixing point for it, and I would like it out of sight if I can. ;D

does the sub really need to be in a sub box or will it work ok just being mounted/fixed down well somewhere?

I think as long as it can push some air behind it and can't vibrate ,it shouldn't need a specific sub box..I started making a sub mount for behind the seat..I'll see if it's still in the garage

You could always do the suitcase thing and mount the sub and amp in an old leather suitcase which looks cool...but depends on whether it's going in the bay or the T4 (I assume the T4)
