thought i'd share some pics of my bus having had mkI/mkII Gtis in max power (when it was a car mag!!) and performance VW in my younger days its nice to be back in the fold :-) the van started off as a blue T4 SWB panel van, it has been painted in 09 audi ice mettalic silver and as yer can see has had a few tweeks from standard have some bbs lm wheels to go on ...but may just keep them for show season with a bit of stretch ;D inside its kitted out as a day van for MTBing and taking my young family on camping adventures, with rear seats on an unwin rail system and saab leather fronts on swivel bases...its a 2.5tdi and drives really well... hopefully get along to a meet one day soon and hopefully see you at some of the shows....if my shackles to the restaurant ever get freed Dave

sadly no :-( was before cameras and computers were invented have got the mag articles hanging up in frames in my garage though ;D my mk1 was done on a budget but looked well..whereas my mkII was completely debadged, detrimed and resprayed and was on the R&A stand 2 years running at GTi international....oh and slammed :-)...then i had the MkI cabriolet in white... witha 16V er in it ...and that was back in 1993....then i had the mkIII which was low with some stunning schmidt rims on and obvious tasty bits lots of fab memories and just a few tatty pics left now

That is a shame, I started playing with my first mk2 back in 1996, so would have missed most of your motors. Had my mk2 featured in golf extream, now that is a rare mag as nobody bought it!!!
