Hola! (That's Spanish for how do!) ;D To add a bit of variety to our club meets, some idea's were recently put forward. Following some great suggestions quite a few members thought Orvil's idea of a day out to Burnsall for a BBQ by the river was a cracking one - so we decided to "put the wheels in motion". September Club Meet Details are as follows: Date: Sunday 5th Place: Burnsall - BBQ By The River !! Time: 11 am For those wanting to participate in a Cruise - meet at 10am Conyngham Hall Car Park, Knaresborough. For those who can't make the cruise & will head straight to Burnsall, we'll see you at 11am by the river. The BBQ/Picnic area is located just before or just after the bridge over the river in the village centre. (A small entrance fee is payable at the gate). Sat Nav users - post code is BD23 6BN As an optional extra if you wanted to camp over the night before there are two campsites in the vicinity that are recommended: Masons Farm tel: 01756 720257 Howgill Lodge tel: 01756 720 655 Camping to be arranged by individuals. Looking forward to this one already - we'll keep our fingers crossed for the sunshine Don't forget your bangers & burgers!!! Rich...

Have been reliably informed if it is raining on the 5th September the field will not be accessible So we may need a back up plan? or we could hang around at Knaresborough for a bit then head to the Royal Oak??? Any thoughts

Any thoughts Rich and I did think that Bolton Abbey is a defo good back up plan, it's a great place to have a game of footy and a BBQ and may be a paddle in the river!!!! Cheers Simon

I agree: 1st Choice: As planned Burnsall. We all can do a weather check on Saturday and if pants.. 2nd Choice: Bolton Abbey. How's that sound? We'll be there rain or shine. Preferably Shine ;-) The List (I think). Rich and Stace Daisybus Simon and Sam Orvil Derek + June Hermann Rob and Anne Please add your name folks, if coming to join in the fun. RIch..

Nice one guys, looks a realy nice picknick spot there, lets hope for sunshine then, and Bolton Abby as a back up plan is also a good one, we already done a picknick there a few years ago with the club, remember? Think I put my name down on the list but need to check with the other half first. Rich and Stace Daisybus Simon and Sam Orvil Derek + June Hermann Rob and Ann Alex and Family

Looks like it would be lovely to have the meet at Burnsall. Sadly we can't make it as we're going to the Beetle Drive at Crich again.
