The time has come. After owning Marmite our Westfalia Continental for 2 years, he has now gone to be restored by the skill full hands of Metalflake Dave and his dad Mick. Due to the originality of the van (only having 2 owners) and its complete perfect original interior, keeping it stock is the way its going to stay. Surviving nearly 40 years it would be a shame to start changing the spec of it now. So once the bodywork has been finished a nice fresh coat(s) of Pastel white will be applied as when it rolled of the VW production line. A few pics to start with; I will keep you posted of the progress.

The best part....The first coverings with nice fresh paint. Both Mick and Dave (metalflakedave) are very talented guys, just look at that finish !!! These shots are straight out of the gun and not been mopped yet. Hey, I only do the metal work, fabrication and welding. Can't take credit for the paint I particularly like this picture. Considering as you say there has been no flatting and this is out of the gun not a bad reflection of the old foldable steps
