:)This is our favourite site EVER! You can barbeque, take your dogs/kids etc. This site is just a field with absolutely no commercial value whatsoever-just one shower and two toilets. You really do have to make your own entertainment here. The walks are ace and nearby is Malham Tarn where you can spend all day for free in or on the water and of course, there is malham village with a good supply of pubs serving local ales and food. Don't be put off by the campsite owner-he looks like a cast member from the "wrong turn" movies and can seem a bit unfriendly/scary but stick with it and try to make him crack a smile and you're in!

Here's a picture of the site from a couple of weeks ago - it was during the week and just after all the kids had gone back to school so nice and quiet - unfortunately the bug was still off the road so had to go in the gaylander.

Haven't been there, but I think the One man in camper programme went there for an over night stop!!!
Think we should have a gathering there as it looks a great spot ;D

Yep thats right malham, two sites but the town head site near the cove is very small so no good for a meet, nice site though, gordales about 3/4 mile outside the village but still good for pubs and stuff, would be ideal for a camp maybe that june one biscuit ;D

We went to this site this weekend, it was great. The farmer is an interesting chap, the facilities are basic but still fine. & the field is great we were right by the stream and it was very relaxing. I'll post some pics soon
