Mk4 tdi, dont want to go the 1.8t route then? Mind you its nice to be different, and the torque will be nice. My bro had a mk2 1.8t back when there were not many about running 280bhp, that went well, 13.6s standing 1/4! I am lovin your mk2 it is still the best looking of all the golfs, mk6 included, got anymore more plans? Interior done? I had 2 mk2's myself, both 1.8 digifant a 'G'reg 89 black 2 door and a 'J' 91 2 door in red, great cars. I had 175000miles on my black one, never missed a beat, Restoring a mk1 now.
Like your wheels ATS cups are the best wheel ever in my opinion, I will be running them on my campaign (I hate 'P'slots)
