Right then..............who among you learned folk knows anything resembling intelligence when it comes to selecting After Market Wheels to fit T25's.........I have discovered a mine field from asking a simple question on the T25 sites (Touchy Lot they are)
Standard Wheels are 5.5 J's 14 inch Et 39
Want to fit Porsche Cup Replica Alloys 7.5J's 17inch ET 52
So methinks it is ok to fit 20mm spacers all round with longer studs to bring the ET down to the "Band of 32...
1) They probably need spacers checking for sizing 2) The tyre selection for maintaing speedo accuracy is an issue 3) The load rating is an issue 4) The ET's are an issue to maintain geometry.
ALL the info I read about conflicts, seen these wheels on numerous vans but when I ask the technical ...err have you really checked this out........SILENCE.......seems like these guys just lob any old wheel on, put a couple of spacers in and think nothing about the geometry, the load on the wheel bearings etc........so any feed back to verify my mathmatical calculation would help.
