I don't know how to remove a Lovre window, but I have put in some windows in the Splitty, its easy . use a string in the rubber, put the rubber around the window and the string on the outer gruve, and pop it in smoothly...

As Alex says getting it in is quite straight forward. You may need someone to push from the outside as you're pulling the string out. All the string does is pull the lip of the seal over the window frame. If you're not pushing as you you pull the string out you will miss bits and have to start from scratch. We could do this at the next meeting.
I usaully run a blade around the old seal ( it's not worth reusing) placed on the pain and cut that way. Even doing it this way, they still take some pushing out from the inside.

How did that work out then Herman Thought that might have been a bit sticky. ;D Maybe silicon spray. Or perhaps a waxed sash cord which will be non corrosive on exposed edges.

being in the industry helps.
Did all the windows in the split in / out and new glass in less than two hours.
The fronts are the hardest but all the suggestions are ok.
Would not recommend silicone.
Before I did mine 4 out of nine windows leaked.
I used Arbomast autograde windscreen sealing compound, no more leaks and lets face it its pissed it down lately.
should have enough left for at least a couple of windows
