Because the Whitby weekend was rained off we have re-scheduled the 2nd Anniversary Camping Weekend to the 31st August - 2nd September at How Steen Gorge. If you would like to attend please start a list below. Mick has kindly booked the site for the club and the details are as follows: When we know how many want to go they will require a deposit of £10 per unit (van or tent). A motorhome/campervan is £10 per night plus £2.50 for hookup for those who want it. www.studfoldfarm.co.ukI spoke to the camp site and they require numbers by the 6th August. Those who wish to go please add their name to the list and either send the deposit to me or give it to me at the next meet, 5th August. So far we have 3 vans on the list (beetles and tents are also welcome) but I'm sure we can do better than that. Its a great site with superb views and excellent facility's and 2 pubs within walking distance - granted one of them is at the top of a hill but just reward is earned when you get there ;D If you send a cheque could you make it out to 'Studfold Holdings' Deposits can be sent to : Mick Gilley 14 Worlds End Yeadon Leeds LS19 7SY Would anyone be interested in having a drive over to Masham on the Saturday to Theakstons Brewery. They do tours around the brewery which last approx 1 1/2 hrs and end up in the Brewery tap to sample the ales (but not too many). Its about 11 or 12 miles from Howe Stean over the moors and would make a good little cruise. Cost is about £5 per person, I don't think this includes the beer Its just an idea for an interesting reason to have a drive round. hm my engine started to rev high a few weeks ago finally got to look at why. the bolts that hold the choke element in came out. So i set it and put new bolts in. next day i smelt petrol so checked all the lines, no leaks only 4 months old. changed the setting on the carb to reduce revs. but seems to use a lot of petrol if anyones good at carb setup could you have alook with me on saturday at the campsite....

Nice work Alex The area we will be on is up & to the left of the static caravans you can see. Its a circular shaped field with a barn in the lower right corner. This is where the new shower and toilet block is, there are hook up points around the perimiter of the field and also across the middle. We're looking forward to it, it should be a good one. Hope fully we'll be leaving around 4 - 4.30ish. Cheers Mick

Re:- carb.
If you don't get it sorted I have a complete 34 pict carb and t/p inlet sitting in my garage, yours for a very moddest £20. Also got a 30pict the same, but requires a gasket between the carb and manifold. Complete std exhaust-hardly used £20.
