No!! we stood outside & looked at the stars(& had a few more beers). I had the fan heater in the van so toasty when I went to sleep but the zip on my sleeping bag had burst so I woke up freezing at 5:00am but switched on the fan heater and went back to sleep

We had a great night and a great night camping. We were stood out till 2.30 talking and watching the stars and we saw a few shooting stars (or were they high flying Stella tops) . We went on to a camp site just outside Pickering on Saturday morning called Vale of Pickering Caravan Park. Its a nice site well laid out with plenty of pitch's all with hard standing & hook ups, they also have a large rally field for tents and those who don't want electric. www.valeofpickering.co.uk/index.html is their web site. If anyone wants a few days away not too far away I would recomend this place. The owner was telling me they have a VW rally booked for next March, last year there were 30+ vans. Have a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone. Cheers Mick & Georgina

What a great evening with nice folk. Chris and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Top marks for all those involved with this superb evening. June and Derek's dedication is awe inspiring. What a team. Herman's speech was well thought and I believe hit the mark. Great boost to club funds. Sadly, I missed the alcohol and the choice of lingering. But really pleased we were able to attend despite having to get up at 5am the following day. Absolute congrats to Rolfsmum who says she never wins anything. Tee Hee. A gorgeous hamper and superbly printed cup. : ;D ;D these smilies are neat. ;D
