I have considered it in the past but decided to stick with aircooled (and I am very happy with my 1776 now..bags of power and pretty quiet). Of all the conversion companies avaliable I think that fellow speedshop seem to to the neatest conversion and the under chassis radiator seems to work well (you can't have bellypans though). The most difficult bit seems to be the loom and ECU but if someone is doing the conversion for you that is all taken care of. Fellows charge £5k drive in and out but you would need to uprate the gearbox to cope with the extra power. have a browse on www.vwkd.co.uk

Spoke to a T25 owner last week at Big Bang 'Santa Pod' running a 240bhp turbo unit and he suggested this Web site : www.rjes.com apparently nothing is too much trouble for him and if you have difficulty he is just on the end of the phone!!!!!!
