Can anybody help me please.I am a joiner not a mechanic but i am learning !!I have a standard 67 split fairly tidy i think but after being on the motorway and various places last year (vanfest was awesome!!)cruising at 50 on the motorway and listening to the van revving its heart out and after reading various forums etc decided a straight axle as he would cruise better and thought would be healthier and more reliable for the bus and us !! I have bought a straight axle that we saw advertised on flea bay but could anyone tell us what else we nee and where from ??do we have to change the shocks and spring plates??the guy who sold me the axle says i can shorten he originals does anyone have a drawing or dimensions? Also fitting the axle changes the ride height to the rear so will i have to adjust the front ?? I need to crack on with the van to get him sorted for the upcoming season and enjoy the good weather we cannot wait !!! Please please if anyone can help let me know it will be much appreciated. Regards Steve P.S how do you get a picture of your bus next to your profile
